Her birthday is on March 29, 1985 in Roswell in New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza is her given name. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She is Mexican origins, however she is American by nationality. She has always been very active in sports. Gerina started to play golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. While she was in high school, she won an award at the New Mexico state golf tournament. Additionally, she was the volleyball player that competed at the state level. She was began her studies at The University of Texas. As a senior, she won every tournament she competed in. During the undergraduate seasons, she won as the conference's best player of year as well as UTEP Female Athletic Champion of Year.
