Amanda Seales, formerly Amanda Diva, (born July 1 1981, in Los Angeles, California) is a host, comedian DJ, host, content creator and much more. At age eight her family moved to Orlando and enrolled in Dr. Phillips High School. Later she went on to SUNY Purchase where her undergrad qualification was earned. Later, she attended Columbia University for her graduate in African American studies. Her first appearance was as a character on the cult Nickelodeon sitcom My Brother and Me (1994) in the role of Deonne, later becoming widely popular as a television host Amanda Diva, the face of hip-hop, on MTV2 Sucker Free Sundays. Though spending some time as an artist on the recording stage and a spoken poet in 2011 she changed her name changed from Amanda Diva back to Amanda Seales, also returning to TV and shortly thereafter she added stand-up comedy to her credits. The production company that she has, DivaWorks Inc. is where she produces and performs clever and entertaining material for stage and screen.
