Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011 and is known best for playing Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward - a teen drama comedy television show. Tarlov is the eldest daughter of two and was raised in Manhattan. At the age of 10-years-old, she began her acting career in the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th graders who attended the show were very impressed. Her summers were spent studying at NYU Tisch and the Interlochen Center for the Arts. She studied a wide range of acting styles and received her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company also trained her and she was able to integrate writing in to her performances through the LAByrinth Theater Masters Course. Molly swapped her black jacket for a pair of sunglasses before leaving for Los Angeles. She quickly landed a three-word role on iCarly which attracted lots of attention by her family and friends. In the years since, she's appeared on television in numerous roles. The actress also developed the character Caitlin on Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly likes to think she's an athlete, however she's actually not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
