Jenna Fischer's most well-known character is Pam Beesly in the highly loved television series The Office. Fischer was awarded two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in an ensemble comedy.
Her mother, Anne, was a performer in church theater as a child, which instilled a love for theater and performances in Jenna. Jenna was inspired by her mom's worship services when she first started out.
Fischer was a theatre actress in her own country. She was a part of the Off-Broadway production Reasons to Be Happy that was directed and written by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, as well as Fred Weller. The Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's absurdist comedy Meteor Shower.
